StoriesAsia launches a new series on the Coronavirus outbreak to bring you stories that help you respond to this ongoing historic pandemic. 

Using their vehicles turned into caravans, StoriesAsia journalist will travel around to bring you stories of not just pain and suffering but also healing and heroism.

In this first dispatch from Kolkata in India, Rajan Raj spoke to daily-wage earners in the city. He discovered that precautionary measures could outweigh the harm the infection itself can cause unless the Government takes steps to mitigate the impact of the ongoing lockdowns.
