Poor Quality Food being Served at Relief Camp in Delhi

In this 17th video in the StoriesAsia’s On the Road series, our reporter Abhishek Yadav spoke with stranded migrant labourers at a relief camp run by the Delhi Government in South Delhi’s Qutub Institutional Area. Residents were unhappy with the food that they are being served. Frequently, they are unable to eat what is distributed despite being hungry.

This is a crisis that requires immediate attention.

*** “On the Road” is a new series by StoriesAsia on the Coronavirus outbreak where we bring you stories that help you respond to this ongoing historic pandemic. Using their vehicles, StoriesAsia journalists will travel around to bring you stories of not just pain and suffering but also healing and heroism.

StoriesAsia, a collective of independent journalists from 16 South Asian and Southeast Asian countries, seeks to replace the present-day parade of faceless numbers with humanising narrative nonfiction – a largely ignored journalistic genre in the region.
