Dispatch 2 from North-East Delhi Violence
Women survivors recount the horrors they experienced during the violence that erupted in Delhi’s North-East district between February 23 and 25. The death count stands at 53. In the destruction and arson, hundreds of homes were reduced to ashes and businesses ruined. Residents who, till a fortnight ago, lived in their homes in the National Capital of India are now languishing in hastily set up camps. Many still remain missing.
