Northeast Indians on Sunday joined thousands of people from other parts of the country who have been protesting against a newly amended law on citizenship. While the others are calling the legislation discriminatory, protesters from the northeast are against granting citizenship to immigrants from neighbouring countries.
StoriesAsia visited the protesters from the northeast on the afternoon of December 22 at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, to ask them why they have objections to allowing citizenship to immigrants.
